Some time ago ruben started painting with oil lacque to bring back balance after a hard day. This special painting technique - flash art - produces fascinating original paintings, both abstract and figurative. With this painting technique you do not use a paint brush, but a little roller to spread the oil laque and then you take away the color with a spatula. You get a painting by taking away the color, funny, isnīt it? Thus you get amazing effects with the colors and very expressive pictures. Rubenīs favorite subjects are landscapes, horses and Jesus Christ but he always looks for new ideas for his original paintings.
